Places i found was born from this belief: to make travel more intentional, more aesthetic, more meaningful.
Concept
Every place you find here - whether visited by myself or still on my own to-be-visited-list - is carefully selected by me. I look for architecture and concepts with soul, thoughtful design, outstanding service and an atmosphere that feels true to its environment - whether that’s in the stillness of nature or in the middle of a vibrant city.
Quality over quantity. Timeless over trendy. Quiet over loud.

About me
I’m Franziska, 32, founder of places i found.
I went to school in Germany and Spain, studied architecture in Germany and in Chile. Right now I work in a corporate job.
Aside of that I’ve been traveling the world (at least some parts of it) - always in search of places that feel different but in a good way. Sometimes it’s the simplicity of a cabin, sometimes the precision of great architecture, sometimes the surprise of finding calm in the middle of a city.
What started as a personal way of keeping track of my discoveries has become this platform - a curated selection of stays that inspire, calm, and move you.
